These origami kusudama shapes are made from images of the surfaces that migrant workers will maintain as they remind me of migrating birds. The installation is proving to be a bit of a problem since arranging them on my wall is not visually interesting enough. Going forward, I aim to have a solution to this problem.
In this module, my work has taken a sculptural shift. Exploring bookmaking and various other sculptural ideas have led to some really interesting discoveries, with a plan to further develop some of these pieces in the following weeks.
