Todays 1-1 was very helpful. As previously mentioned I have some difficulties with writing, so can sometimes avoid this task. Research in this area is also difficult due to the migrant subject matter, this is also a historical problem. It is difficult to find accurate records on this particular place in Houston. However after this one to one with Wendy I do realise that in order to progress with this project it does need underpinned with in depth research.

My first goal is to understand how rice farming found it way to the Texas countryside. Who maintained those lands and are they still involved in the production, and upkeep of the silos. Is this another historical moment of a shifting migrant workforce?
